The Village Proposition asks the Bronxville Voters if they want to move the Village Election from March to November.

Should the date of the annual Bronxville Village Election be changed from the third Tuesday in March to the Tuesday next succeeding the first Monday in November each year?
WHY MOVE OUR ELECTIONS?
Changing the date of our annual Village elections to November will:
- Increase voter participation in Bronxville elections
- Reduce the number of times people are asked to go to the polls each year
- Eliminate cost for the County
- Provide access to early voting
- Strengthen community engagement

Why Move our Village Elections from March to November?
Increase voter participation in Bronxville elections
Turnout at our Village elections in March has been extremely low – often less than 10% of eligible voters. This common-sense change will boost participation and bring us in line with most other Westchester villages.
Reduce the number of times people are asked to go to the polls each year
Bronxville residents are asked to vote up to seven times each year, resulting in voter confusion and fatigue. Our Village elections in March often go unnoticed. Consolidating elections makes everyone’s lives easier.
Eliminate cost for the County, while providing access to early voting
Reducing the number of elections will save costs for the County – costs currently funded by us. And by moving to November, voters in our Village elections will gain access to early voting, making participation more convenient for all.
Strengthen community engagement
When people vote, they make a personal investment in the vision and outcomes they are supporting. People voting in higher numbers can only be good for Bronxville.
